Theodora the Weaver

Trying to rescue and preserve the memory of the cultists that abound in Venezuela who are completely unknown to the majority of the population, this documentary portrays the story of life and everyday life of Theodora: who has dedicated hes life to the weaving of hammocks on the island of Margarita, opening the doors of her home,she is happy to be able to be recognized and share a lot of anecdotes.

La Guajira

Blacks Parranda of the Oricuto

It is a documentary made in the town of Altagracia de Orituco, located in Guarico State of Venezuela where even today is kept alive the tradition of so-called parties “Spree of blacks of the Orituco” originated by the first Maroons (slaves in 1720) who moved from the mountains towards the valleys to celebrate the festivities of the Catholic Saints, as rebellion or to take advantage of the festivities of whites.
